Our Chili Cookoff
was a delicious Treat!
This year we had 4 entries in the chili-making arena and all of the entries were tasty! Are you a bean or no-bean kinda of chili afficionado? We had all kinds.
Congratulations to Brian Reinhardt who won First Place for his family recipe of a traditional beef chili.
We thank our local Liaison Officer Chris Bianez for attending our shindig in the street and for his microphone and DJ skills.

Annual GPOA Meeting Feb 10th, 2026
Please add Tuesday, February 10th to your busy schedules to attend our annual POA Meeting at PARR Library 7pm in the Program Room. It’s extremely important to attend the annual meeting so we can obtain a quorum and vote in new officers.
We have open positions for our Board positions including President, VP, Landscaping Chair and opportunities to help with Social events and Architectural Committees. Please contact any member of the POA Board if you’re interested.
Grateful for the information the City of Plano Police Department delivered through Officer Chris Bianez in 2025 with an excellent presentation on crime prevention. If you are interested in additional information about programs offered by PDD please see the link below.

Hot Cocoa Night and Walk-About Decor
Thank you to everyone who braved the misty evening of Wednesday, December 17th and had their family and friends walking around the neighborhood to view how lovely the sooo many of our homes which are decorated for the holildays. Then, being sure to get their ballots turned in while enjoying a cup of cocoa and/or hot apple cider while catching up through fun conversations. Unexpected weather still made for a happy and enjoyable event.
Congratulations to The Carlsons at 3800 Morningside who once again took the prize for the most festive, happily decorated front lawn for the holidays. Seems they are adding more and more to their fun inflatable display each year that they've had to begin wrappng their side yards with lights and more inflatables too!
But even though the overwhelming votes were for the Carlsons, we had several homes that certainly deserve an honorable mention as they all tied in the number of votes they received. See the photos linked HERE or simply drive around the neighborhood a few more times to get a good up-close look. And as a side note, you may want to head down Ellington on Christmas eve when the Blackwell's put out their luminaria display which always stuns with 100's of flickering candlelights!
Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Holidays!

DID WE HAVE FUN OR WHAT???
The 2024 Glenhollow Estates Independence Day Parade
took place on Sunday, July 4, of course! The parade festivities started at 8:30 AM near the corner of Woodway and Edgestone at the entrance to Coyote Creek Park. The parade starts at 9 AM, which eventually was led by a fire engine from the Plano Fire Department, but as luck would have it, they were called away DURING our little parade. We enjoyed ice cream afterwards.
Were there prizes? Yes, and the winners were so cute! Thank you to the volunteers who helped in many areas … judges for prize winners;
bringing a coolers for the popsicles;
and guiding the parade with overall exhuberance!

Did you know?
Glenhollow Estates Board purchased the Doggie Pooper Scooper stations in Coyote Creek Park? It’s true! We maintain the upkeep and bag supply for the Waste Station. If at anytime the bags are “out” when you stop by. it’d be OK to notify secretary@glenhollow.com so that we are aware to order more bags.
Be sure to “do your duty” and pick up after your animals whether you are in the park or walking through the neighborhood. It’s not kind to leave it behind! Don’t forget, these days you can be on video because so many of us have a “RING” doorbell. Let’s all be considerate – our dogs all thank you!
